Head Of Software (Embedded Software) – Overijssel – 6 Months Plus Extension – FREELANCE CONTRACT

Our client is looking for an interim Head of Software to come onboard and manage a department consisting of 50-70 engineers focused in Embedded Systems.

Responsibilities:

• Make strategic and tactical decisions regarding competence development and business growth, ensuring effective collaboration across teams and within departments.
• Lead and manage a resource/knowledge pool of approximately 50-70 professionals.
• Handle resource allocation for projects, collaborating closely with account leaders and project managers.
• Take responsibility for the recruitment of skilled professionals.
• Own the budget for your group and contribute to the overall profit and loss of the business.
• Lead the identification and implementation of technology and process improvements, managing the related budgets.

Experience:

• Strong knowledge of Embedded Software; C, C++, Microcontroller, RTOS and Embedded Linux.
• Strong capability and experience in departmental management.
